Hi Team,
We have embedded rest API editor UI inside API manager management console.
This causes to several issues. Main problem is this is default rest
API uiavailable in
ESB(not specifically designed for AM). So this component does not aware
about API manager specific handlers and api created by this ui does not
behave as APIs created by publisher UI(do not have authorization,
throttling, usage metering and extension handler support). In addition to
that we cannot use graphical ui editor to this as we have stripped out
mediator, sequence and other ESB UI elements. If someone want to edit API
definition manually they can use source view editor for that. After having
internal team discussion we came up with idea of removing this uicomponent.
WDYT?
Thanks,
Sanjeewa.
