Need help resolving Segmentation fault while running linkage function in Octave

Hi,
I am running linkage function for hierarchical clustering in Octave.
The matrix size is around 200000 * 200
My system configuration is: Ubuntu 14.04, 8GB RAM
When running linkage function it gives:

panic: Segmentation fault -- stopping myself...
attempting to save variables to 'octave-workspace'...
save to 'octave-workspace' complete
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Please help me fix the issue.
