Bluetooth availability

Hi.

I'm trying to understand why Bluetooth works on some machines and not on
others.

I have three netbooks to play with here - an Acer Aspire 722, an Acer Aspire
751, and an Asus EeePC 900.

Both the Acer Aspires have built-in bluetooth, but it only works under Android
X86 on the 751 (it works fine under Linux on both).

The EeePC doesn't have built-in Bluetooth, but I can plug in a USB Bluetooth
adapater, and that then works fine.

The same adapter plugged into the Aspire 722 doesn't work.

My questions are:

1. Is there any way I can investigate this further and find out why some
interfaces are not working (and possibly contribute to getting them working)?

2. Is there any reason for which interfaces work and which don't, so that if I
buy another machine I can be confident that the various parts will work under
Android X86?

3. Is there a web page somewhere (I've looked, but not found it yet) listing
different hardware and whether it's known to work with Android X86 or not, to
help people obtain hardware that's compatible and as ready-to-work as
possible?

Thanks,

Antony.
