Hi,
I read in the FAQ in response to:
“*You must be 18 years of age or older on or before 21 April, 2014 to be
eligible to participate “*
that indicates that you must conform to international labor laws.
However, if I'm a US Citizen and 18 on May 1st and have the relevant work
papers and that I will be 18 by the time I will be writing code for GSoC,
i.e. on the 21st May 2014 as per the timetable - can I request an
exception? It appears illogical & unfair that a fellow classmate who is
just a few days older, with the same interest and experience would be
eligible and myself not.
Thanks - awaiting for your response.
